		<description>I don&#039;t know if we really need to hate twitter, it can just be ignored.

That said, there are people out there who really do want to know what others are doing at all times.  Now with twitter, they can save valuable gossip time and get their information straight from the source.

Of course, I&#039;m not really one to pass judgement on twitter because I have yet to jump on board with some of the &quot;web 2.0&quot; ideas.  Take the ever popular second life for example.  Here people spend actual money on pretend items in a pretend world.  At least those who lived in fantasy in the past (such as AD&amp;D gamers) spent PRETEND money in their pretend world.

But if you have the time and money to waste, who am I to stop you?
